It Runs in the Family

Black and white image of a historic Italian shop

In the early 1900’s our great grandparents, Guiseppe and Giuseppina Gutilla ran a grocer/dry goods store in Chicago’s Italian neighborhood. Shelves were stocked with fresh produce, pastas, tomatoes, cheeses and salamis, olives and wine.

We’ve continued the same commitment to quality today at Dinotto. Dinotto’s is about preserving a familial legacy in a modern setting.

A Slice of Italian Heritage

We opened our doors on April 14, 2025, at 106 S. Webster Street—right behind Dino Maniaci’s restaurant, D’Vino, marking the return of the classic Italian deli to downtown Madison.
